I bought a pair of 31x10.50R15 OTR Mud tires 2 years ago for my Dodge Dakota. After 20,000+ miles they look great and still perform as advertised. I drive alot of dirt roads and oil/gas well lease roads that get pretty sloppy at times. My only concern is ground clearence in my 2wd. I have never had a problem with traction and go places many guys have to use 4wd.
Load capacity? I can not load my truck heavy enough to effect these tires and I've tried! Noise? Yea, they "sing" on the highway, but what mud tire with this type tread won't? If you want a quiet tire get something else. If you want great traction, this is the ticket.
Quality, price can't do better than these tires. I'll buy more.
My only complaint is they don't make tires to fit my Totota Yaris!!

Hello, my name is J. Rush. I ordered a set of 4 33x12.50.16.5 Mud-S ULTRA tires followed by a 5th as a spare from you guys a bit ago. And I just wanted justed wanted to let you guys know, you guys do great work. After our last snow fall here in Wyoming, which as you could imagine is not always fun, at first I was a bit worried how your tires would perform. Bit with hard packed snow over ice covered roads and 40-50mph winds your tires work flawless, tracked straight and true. I haven't really gotten a chance to try your tires out in mud or real 4-wheeling, snow is still in the mountains. I have a feeling that I won't be disappointed. Asphalt, concrete, and dirt roads are also great, no wondering, unusual shacking or discerning feeling in the steering. As these tires are on my daily driver, and after a few short trips I feel very confident with the quality of workmanship you put into every tire. A few of my fellow enthusiasts were surprised and with a sense of disapproval of re-tread tires, they are now "warming up to" the idea of the same tires for there own trucks. And I also have to commend you on being one of the few companies that still deal with 16.5" rims. Overall I just want to say I am very pleased with your tires, the price is unbeatable, and look forward to dealing with you guys in the future. Thank you.

Back in November I ordered two (2) sets of tires from
your company the first set was a set of 235/75R/15
A/T-G which I took down and had studded, I then
mounted them on my wife's S-10 Blazer. These tires
have performed better then I expected, she has not
slid around or gotten stuck at all, I can't say that
for the other people that live around us.
The other set I purchased was the 245/75R/16 OTR these
have done a bang up job. Right now I have 1.2 tons of
rock in the back of my truck for the weight on our ice
covered driveway. They can take the punishment, I know
cause I dish it out on these tires everyday and they
perform great. I see no need to buy tires anywhere else.
Thanks for putting out a great product!

I have been using your tires for over 6 years now and only had one fail. It failed because it was on the wrong rim and I overloaded it. These tires are great for off road use and hold up very well. They are the only tires I will use.
Thanks again,

Hello, I purchased 5 of the 31"x10.5"x15" re-tread OTR tires from you about a month ago and installed them on 5 Cragar Soft 8 15"x7" wheels for my 1986 Jeep CJ-7. At first when I called in the person I spoke with said it would be 4-6 months for delivery, but I received them in only a week. I was extremely impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of your customer service over the phone. I asked for 5 matching brands and got 5 matching brands on the tires.
When I took the tires to get installed at my local shop, they didn't believe me that they were re-treads until I showed them your website. They balanced out as good as any other normal new tire. I was very surprised by their on-road performance. For a mud tire, these handle great on the road. I am very picky when it comes to tires, and these were replacing some $160 Michelin road tires I had on there. I have run BF Goodrich Mud-Terrains and All-Terrains on my CJ and to be completely honest, these Treadwright OTR mud tires are better by far with on-road and off-road performance and handling in my opinion. Even with my shaky CJ-7, interstate driving at 60-70mph isn't a problem at all, and the noise isn't near as bad as with BFG Mud-Terrains.
This is coming from someone who is extremely picky with their tires. I don't put any rubber other than Michelin on my car, and my Jeep has only seen premium branded tires. After reading the reviews, I didn't think twice before installing these re-treads on my Jeep CJ project that I have put countless thousands into. After driving it around myself on my Jeep, I feel confident putting these on my future vehicles and recommending them to all my friends.
Many thanks,
Garrett P.

I just wanted to let everyone out there know that this is THE place to get their next set of tires! The prices are very reasonable, the product quality is awesome and the customer service is unequaled. If you are hesitating because these are recaps or you are concerned about the quality, don’t worry one bit. They have very high quality standards and I personally think make better tires than most of the budget OE manufacturers out there. If you have any issues with your order they will promptly resolve the situation for you, just let them know what the problem is. I just bought four P235/75R15 mud tires (the biggest I can go without a lift kit) for my Jeep Cherokee and they look and handle great on the road. I’ve not been in the muck with them just yet, but every evaluation I’ve ever read on off-road forums says you can’t beat them. So what are you waiting for?

May 2, 2007 315/75/16's
I own a dodge 3500, Dually 4x4, extened cab, gas powered 360 with auto+overdrive. I ordered (6) 315/75/16's, they only had 2 in stock, I paid for all 6 and received the 2 about 3 days later. I then had to wait 5 more days then the others came, not bad!! I had them mounted and balanced @ 20.00 per tire, so i spent a total of $862.00. for 6 MT's. YOU CAN'T BEAT THAT ANY-WHERE,anyway i just have over 600 miles on them GREAT so far, the worst tire needed 2.1oz.of weight to balance it. these tires perform flawlessly they are the best deal u are going to find!!!!!! I will never go with another type of tire again, thanks guys I'll do more biz with you as soon as these wear out, hope to see some 44's offered on the site.THANKS!

April 19, 2007 Customer Service
I RECENTLY HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY ORDER, THE TIRES I RECEIVED WHERE NOT THE TIRES I HAD ORDERED AND PAID FOR. I CONTACTED YOU VIA TELEPHONE AND WAS INSTRUCTED TO TAKE SOME PICTURES AND E-MAIL THEM TO YOU, I DID THIS AND IN LESS THAN 48 HOURS I HAD MY NEW TIRE. I JUST WANTED TO WRITE AND SAY THANK YOU AND THAT I REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR EXCELENT SERVICE.

March 29, 2007 Still Going
Thank you for sending down a set of ATD’s for my father in law. I also thought I should let you know that you can add three more deer season’s to the tires I bought three years ago on my daily driver pickup. I was going to replace my tires this summer before hunting season, but they are refusing to wear out. If they don’t hurry up and wear out, I am going to have to run them until summer of 2008. I will keep you posted.

I sincerely appreciate your reply. While you do not carry the tire size that I am currently looking for, I will absolutely keep you and your business in mind for future endeavors. It only makes sense to me to run a retread on a vehicle that I plan to keep in the mud and dirt - especially with your outstanding reputation in these circles, and the obvious class that you have shown me in your reply below.
Again, I will keep you in mind in the future, and we will definitely do business soon.

Your Tires Rock!!!
I'm John R.,
Repeat customer from Polson, MT. I purchased a set of your 35x12.50 d-muds and abused them for 3 summers. I,m being nice using the term abused, your tires are tough. They still had half tread ...sorta ha ha. The traction helped me stomp through the mountain roads and rock. I also blazed through many mud holes down by the river. I even blew up the rear end in my K5 Blazer hill climbing with your tires. No matter what i say , it still doesn't compare to the price. For real, $480 for a full set of 35"s delivered to your door! That price would only buy me 1 1/2 tires from the local tire shops. Just want to say thank you!
Sincerely satisfied customer, John R.

Dear Hi-Tech Retreads, I have just recently returned from a six month overseas deployment on the fast attack nuclear submarine. My wife had noticed that I had been looking at your website and paid attention to the type of tires I wanted for my 2000 Jeep Wrangler (31-10.50-OTR MUD). She ordered 5 tires for my jeep while I was away and surprised me with the tires when I got back among other things....These tires are AWESOME! No problems at all! No wobble, hobbing errors, functional, and they look GREAT! I wanted to thank you for helping her out and providing a stable, functional, and good looking product. I have recommended your company to all my friends with trucks and 4X4's. Keep up the great work!
Very Respectfully, STS1(SS) Stephen D. Chickos

Hi I was wondering if you have load range E retreads? I currently have size 235/85-16 tires on my K2500 Suburban and I'm due for a new set of tires before too long. I had a set of MT's from you guys on my Jeep and they were great!
Thanks, Andy

Hi, I bought a set of 285/75/16 D-Muds from you a while back and am very happy with them, so I am looking into getting another set for my other truck. I need a 37" Tire........
Thank You
| May 21, 2006
Hello, received the tires on 5/15, and was impressed with them, have to really look to see they are caps. I finally had them mounted at a place where I always have all tire work done on 5/19 (mounted and balanced), the person who mounted and balanced said that one of the tires needed no weights, which is very rare in new tires. Have not had much of a chance to drive yet, but they improved the handling of the old wrangler considerably, there is none of the things associated with recaps, just like a set of new tires on this. One question, if something was to happen, what kind of warranty is available. At time of mounting Jeep had 146670 miles on it.
Thanks for your time and what seems like a good product, I will be back.

I would like you to know that I purchased a set of your mud tires approximately a year ago. I can not believe how good the tires still look. The tires look new. I have taken them hunting in some nasty stuff and they handled great. I tell everyone about your product and have even printed your selection and given it to friends.---------Keep up the good work.

Hi, I would like to know what you have in stock and ready to ship for 245/75/16 in a set of 4 with green diamonds. Prefer all terrain, but mud would be okay. Would also prefer to be "heavy duty" if able. Shipped to 97527. I am a returning customer since I am SOOO happy with the tires I already got from you I want to put a set on my Suburban now.
Thank you,
Joe

I wanted to let everyone know that I recieved 4 285/75 Dmuds with green diamonds and put them on a 94 2500 chevy. They were not as loud as I had thought they would be but they do certainly hummm a little. They drive great on the road, they track just as well as my workhorse extra grips did. They Pull and Pull through the mud and snow! It is unbelieveable. They have a very nice appearance they seemed to have balanced very well. I am very happy with them.

Hi, I just wanted to say I received your otr mud tires yesterday and put them on last night and wow these are some really good looking tires. I can't wait to go see what fun I can have in my 94 jeep grand cherokee with these new 31's. I am very impressed with the way they were mounted; not very many weights at all. Thanks you again and you have a new customer for life and I am already telling all of my friends about yall guys

These past two weeks I have had a number of chances to try out my new AT's with Green Diamonds on my way into and way home from work. There has been freezing rain, glazed roads, up to several inches of snow etc. The tires work AMAZINGLY well. Just this morning I past several spinouts and watched a couple of trucks in front of me spin their tires and slide on stopping. I had absolutely NO trouble! It was like driving on wet roads. Those Green Diamonds grab the ice VERY well!!!
Thanks again! Nick

Bought a set of otr mud tires, they are great. Well worth the money. Showed them to a friend that goes through a set of tires a least every 6 months going from muddy oil lease to muddy oil lease on gravel roads. He's going to try you out and tell all the other operators that he works with. Great value, fast shipping.

...P.S. I've previously owned the OTR (I think) Mud tires from you & they were some of the most outstanding tires I've ever laid eyes on, even barring the fact that they were re-treads. They each balanced within 1.75 oz or less, lasted me over 60k miles with only a couple of rotations performed (on a beat up old ''88S10 Blazer!), & would dig their way out of anything. They were AWESOME!!! Keep up the good work & reasonable prices.

I recently ordered and installed 4 OTR Mud tires, 235-75-15. The tires balanced on stock Chevy rims under 3.5 ounces. I only have 1000 miles or so, but am greatly impressed with the quality and traction. I am adding a 3/4 ton to my toys, and I'm curious if you can make either OTR Mud or D-Mud in 33/9/16.5 or 34/9/16.5 instead of 12.5. I don't need a wide tire. Great tires, Thanks for the information.

Good Day Gentlemen,
I purchased a set of your 33X12.50R16.5 D-Mud (Plain rubber, No Green Diamonds) about a month ago and received them promptly. For various reasons, I did not get them installed on my '79 Jeep J-20 truck until this past Wednesday (June 8th). This morning (June 10th), while driving to work on a wet I-70 on the west side of metro Denver, a full semi gravel hauler and a Dodge Intrepid wrecked directly in front of me. Your tires worked perfectly, and allowed me to stop promptly without skidding or loosing control on the wet new asphalt. If my old bald tires were still on the truck, I am sure I would have hit the gravel hauler. Thanks for making a quality product. The tires earned every penny I paid for them this morning.
Thank you,
Scott Hardesty

I just bought a set of the otr mud tires 31x10.50 for my 87 bronco 2. I just wanted to say they are great, I have not got stuck in the mud yet and I play a lot. I have told everyone about your tires to send some more business your way. Once again thank you very much. Trevor

I have purchased a set of 31 x10.5 AT-D’s that I am really happy with. They were very round and balanced out better than my last set of new tires. I am now interested in a set of 33 x 12.5 tires. Do they only come in D-Mud? I would prefer the OTR.

When I first bought these tires I had no idea what a re-tread was. My dad explained to me what it was, and suggested I try to stop order. I tried but was unsuccessful, and I am forever greatfull that they were already on their way to my house. I love the tires. I have had then about 5,000-10,000 miles and they have held up great. I do not see any tread wear, and they do awesome in mud, sand, and wet/dry pavement. As soon as I lift the jeep ill be back for the 33's or 35's. Thanks again, and I will refer many people to you as I already have.

Dear Rick,
It is I that Thanks You! The quality shows in these tires and I'm glad I have them on my truck. I have been buried up past the hubs and these tires performed flawlessly! Even made me a little change pulling other vehicles out. Everyone that asks where I got the tires from and I'm pleased to direct them your way.
Keep up the good work! You and your crew are great!

To Whom It May Concern:
I bought some tires from you prior to winter getting a foothold on us here in Michigan. I meant to write earlier but just didn't get around to it - for that, I apologize. The tires I purchased from you are magnificent!
I could not have asked for better on or off road performance at a price that was truly incredible. Keep up the good work and I look forward to doing business with your company again.
Sincerely, Chas Brothers

Thanks, Rick! I called and ordered the 285s. Can't wait to get 'em! BTW, I checked some of the Off-Road chat rooms and practically everyone raves about your tires. You should be proud of your company's reputation.
Thanks again, Mike Bloch
| February 22, 2005
Rick, I got my 35x12.5x16 D Muds and love them. They're great. I was wondering if you might be interested in my old one's that I took off. They're Pathfinder Radial ATR tires and would be good candidates for recaps. The sidewall are all in good condition with no damage that I can see inside or out. They are 315/75/R16 (35x12.5x16)
Let me know if you're interested and thanks for the great tires. I constantly recomend you to people here in Oklahoma. Most people seem skeptical about retreaded tires but after I tell them that I've purchased 2 sets from you and tell them about your warranty they usually have a slight change of opinion.
Anyway, thanks again and keep up the good work.

Just wanted to let ya’ll know that the 305’s I purchased are awesome. I did have to trim a little plastic on the undercarriage, but they look great. About 10 people at the tire shop inquired about them and when I told them that they were retreads they were amazed. I may have sent you some more customers. Anyway, thanks for the tires and I will see you in about 50,000 miles for some more.

I bought and installed a set of your tires last fall - 235/85-16, a/t tread. they balanced and ride well and I'm happy with them. I plan another set for my 77 f250, as soon as I can find a set of 16x7 rims to replace the 16.5s.
A neighbor with a Bobcat (skid-steer) wants to know if you can retread its tires - they're worn and he's close to needing a set. So, can/do you?
thanx for a great product. Dana
| Good Afternoon; To say the least on the other tires that I got from your company, I have zero(O)complaints only TOTAL satisifaction with your PRODUCTS!!!!!!! I totaled my Raider but, my old Chevy took the same size tires so I am using two of them as "snow-tires" and cannot believe how much grip these tires have!!!!!!!!
Anyway, I need to know how much 4(four) all-position tires would run in the following size P235-75R-15. I will need to know to freight my door and would you also recommend the "carbide" chips in these too? As I notice on the Chevy that they are just like "studs" with their gripping power!!!! Enclosed please find a SASP for your reply. Have a happy, healthy, new year and keep up the outstanding job as you have one super-duper happy customer here.
Kevin C.Boone
PS. The tires I am using as "snow-tires"are the "quietest"tires I have ever encountered!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello,
I just wanted to drop you a line regarding the set of OTR MUD tires I purchased a few months ago. I have four 235-75R-15's on my '87 Suzuki Samurai, and this thing will go ANYWHERE. Mud, snow, sand . . . They climb and cut through it all. Highway noise level is low considering the tread pattern, and they are as true as could be. A lot to be said for a front end that can be quite sensitive to roundness or balance irregularities. I've put about 4,000 miles on them and they are wearing very well.
Thanks Again! Keith Hayes Holbrook (Long Island) NY

to whom it may concern, i'm planning on buying another set of tires from your company in th next week or so seeing how i'm going on winter #4 with a set of your tires and they still look new. A few questions i need answered are what load range are you tires in a 235/85/16 size. i'm looking for a E load range tire. I'm planning on buying either the mud or all terrain tread with the green diamonds. Also I would like to know why the green diamond tires have to be on all 4 wheels?

Rick,
I run a set of OTR Muds on my ’46 Willys Jeep and LOVE them. They grab onto whatever I drive over and don’t let go!!! Now it’s time for a set for my 94 Wrangler. Can you price me out a set of OTR Muds with Green Diamond? Size 235-75R-15. I'm local…I can come over to the shop for mounting. I have new valve stems already…

Rick It's time to order my 3rd. set from you. I've got almost 80,000 on 4 of them with only one problem, one tire leaked air into the carcass at about 25,000 or 30,000 and ballooned the sidewall and tread, dose that happen often? They were all Michlin casings other than that they are great. Talk to you on the 10th. to place the order.

I thought I would let you know that my LT235/75R15 OTR's are working very well. I have run them on the highway and in the mud, snow, ice, and rocks during elk season and they performed flawlessly. After a 1000 miles they still have the little nubbies on them. This is my second set and I could not be more satisfied. You produce a good product at a good price with good service. Rick,
I just wanted to say thanks for such a great tire. I have the OTR-MUD in 265/75R/16 and they are wearing better than my BFG’s ever did. I put about 65 miles a day on these tires and use my truck for work that involves a lot of u-turns…..I have to say these tires are wearing perfectly I now have about 12,000 miles on them and I just wore off the last rubber nub… My opinion these tires are the best quality for the money, I look forward in buying all my truck tires from you.
Thanks again, Chad Wood Littleton, CO

Hey Rick, Just wanted to say thank you for the great service. I received the tires when you promised them. They are great. I ordered a set of 265/75/16 for my girlfriends Tahoe. The larger size looks a lot better. Your tires look great. The AT-D's ride great, with very little noise. They are quiter than the Goodyear Wranglers that they replaced, with a much better tread for off road. You have another life long customer. Keep hoping to see 20" tires to fit my Dodge, in your ads.
Thanks, Randy S. North Texas

Hello again
I bought a set of 4 31/10.50/15 last winter and I love them, the traction in deep snow was so good it made my 351 ford snort! This is the same truck that pulled a 7,000lb total 1,000lb tongue trailer at 70mph like nothing was behind it on your tires. It is hard to see any ware on the tires even with ford goofy TTB front end.
My question to you is this, are the 33/12.50/15 readily available with green diamonds.
I could go on about the tires but I'll finish with the best. Last winter I pulled a semi with an empty flat bed stuck on a hill at my job site, the driver just shook his head when I said I'll tow him. I'll do the laughing now.

I always recommend High- Tec Retreading to the people I talk to that are looking into buying new tires. Thanks Again. Chad

Hi Rick- It's tire ordering time for us at R&L Yard Care again, so here goes - We need (2) 235-85-16 AP with Green Diamonds and (2) 235-85-16 OTR Mud with Green Diamond, all shipped to us at 54426. Send me a total in the next 2 weeks so I can get it in this months billing cycle. Thanks again - the last set of AP's w/G D's are still on our '98 with 42K miles on them! Superb traction on snow & ice, towed our 6200 lb trailer up and down hill in the snows of last winter, and only a few times was 4x4 needed, mostly when the trailer was dragging snow along under it! Hi. If these tires ever wear out I will buy another set from you. 40.000+ miles and counting with not one problem. How much for a set of 4, MUD.. 235-75-15 Shipped to 81326... Thanks. Orlin Harris

I must say I am impressed with your tires, and they have held up very well. I got alot of 'retread' warnings from the locals, and one went as tar the tires would only last me 10K miles. I have put them to the test and have made most of the locals look foolish. I have convienced many people around Montana (commercial and offroaders), and Moab UTAH, during a trail ride early this summer that THESE tires are the way to go. The 31"10.5x15 MTO I R green diamond that i have on my jeep worked GREAT on the ice last winter (and made driving easier with a rear locker), are very agressive, allow me to air down to 12psi (on 8x15 wheels), soft enough to grip the rocks when rockcrawling off road, and show little wear on the tread after 18K miles. I recall seeing in a magazine ads for awhile now that you would be adding 33" x12.5x15 MT tires soon. When will they be available and at what price w/ and w/o grean diamond. It available please include shipping cost to Chinook, MT 59523 (business) for 6 of them. I WANT THESE TIRES!! -Aaron Anderson Chinook, MT

hey, love your tires! I've got about 50k on mine now and they are barely showing wear! I'm looking for another set for my wife's cherokee.... preferrably 33/15/10.5 but I'll settle for 31/15/10.5 if that's all you have.... could you give me a price, with shipping to zip 24073? Thanks, David Cox

I was wondering if you make any 35 inch tires or larger? I purchased a set of OTR 31's last year and absolutely love them! Im looking to purchase some 35's or larger if you are currently producing any. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks, Jonathan Pittard

I was surfing the Internet when I saw your web-site for re-treads. I had seen your ad in the JP magazine a few months ago but had forgotten all about it because I sold my jeep. I am in the process of moving to Florida and want more aggressive tires for my new XJ, thus looking up tire on the net. I called your company for a shipping quote and was greatly surprised by the courtesy of the gentleman who answered the phone. Great prices and great service..., it does not get any better! As soon as I am settled in my new home I will be calling you to place an order for my new tires. I will also be recommending your service to everyone I know and anyone who asks where I got my awesome tires. If you guys have any stickers or windshield banners available, please send me one or a few and I would be more than happy to display them on my lifted and locked XJ for the world to see.
Thanks again, Your new customer for life.

Hello, Strange question for you. I am getting close to needing another set of 235/75-15's MT's from you. Is it possible to get a set made as a green diamond tire?
You're tires have been so fantastic and reliable that I use them on my daily driver (lots of hwy travel) with no concerns or problems. My travels take me from FL swamps to NY snow, I would not mind having that little extra traction under my feet.
Thanks in advance. Hank Grimmick

Hello, my name is Cliff Newlin. I am a previous customer of yours and am pleased with the 5 sidewall matching 33 x 12.50R-15 mud tires I purchased from you last year. Other than some balancing issues the tires have held up fine.
I am contacting you for a quote of 5 sidewall matching 31x10.50R-15 OTR MUD tires including tax and shipping per tire as I might only buy 4. They will be shipped to Freeburg, IL 62243. Your response will be appreciated.
Thank you

Hey, I wanted to let you know that your "muds" have outlasted my wife's Pro-Comp MT's by a ton under the exact same driving conditions and nearly the same mileage! Which brings me to my next question... what would be the total price for a set of muds in a 33x15 shipped to zip 33624? Thanks, I look forward to hearing from you. decox

Hey there! Just got to your site from a few friend recommendations who love your tires. I live in South Florida and drive a Jeep Wrangler. I'm looking at your 31 x 10.50's. I drive mostly on road (very little interstate however) but I also play off-road about 2 weekends a month. With the sandy terrain down here, which tread design would you suggest? Also, can you give me an estimated shipping cost to Fort Laduerdale, 33313. Thanks a lot in advance, Justin Mackovyak

Hi, the tires got here on Wednesday morning. They are on the Blazer. They balanced with very little weight , look great and handle great. Several people had to look real hard to see they were recaps. I will be ordering some for my Jeep late this summer. And as some of my 4-wheeling friends see the tires perhaps send some more bussiness your way. Thank You Chris Boone

I am looking to see how much it would cost to have (4) of the 265/75 16 AP (all position) tires shipped to me and also to see if you have them in white letter. My zip code is 54451. I ordered a set of 5 from you about 3 years ago and now I need another set. Thanks.

Hello,
I had the seven Mud OTR with green diamonds mounted yesterday (two days after the 2.5 FEET of snow fell). I must say, these tires are very impressive. They balanced very well, and the road noise is less than I expected.
The traction is unbelievable! I pulled my 2002 Dodge Ram 3500 2wd dually into 18 inches of slush and snow and stopped.. .Then accelerated out of the snow like I was in six inches of it. The day before I had to get a full head of steam going just to get through the same street. The factory tires were the most horrid tires in snow I have ever encountered.
Thank you very much for a quality product. You can add this to the testimonials page if you would like.
Thank you,
Jeffrey Hoogendyk

I just bought some tires from you about 2 weeks ago and love them. So I'm looking into getting some 225x75R16 for my other truck. I live in rapid city- so I was wondering how often you come up. I bought 265 alt's, which have a different tread pattern than what is pictured. Will the 225's have what is pictured on the website, or will it be what I bought 2 weeks ago? Thanks, Corey Crowder

Just this last fall, I put a set of your 33x12.5x16.5 mt's on my 1995 crew cab powerstroke 4x4, and let me say one thing. Those tires made for a whole new truck, it would crawl through mud that my old wrangler mtr's would never have. And the price! I put a whole set of wheels and tires on my truck for less than paid for a set of goodyears. But, do have one question, wondered, because also have a 4x4 ford of 1979ish that's kind of my muddin toy, wondered if it was even a possibility that someday you might carry either a tire either 35" or 38" in diameter.

Could you please give a quote for five 235/85/16 OTR mud delivered to zip 33901? I already have a set on my current vehicle and I really like 'em so I figured that I'll get another set for my next toy. Thanks. Daniel Barale
| November 24, 2003 Thanks for the info, Rick! I am running a set of your MT pattern 31-10.50-15s now and am very pleased. Will probably replace them next year with some of your Green Diamond ATs for street use, and get another set of your MTs for of road.
Thanks again, Steve

Hello, I am currently running your 31" OTRs and I couldn't be happier with them. For the off-roading that I do, they are great. And you really can't beat the price. Thank you, Keith
| October 27, 2003
I'm already running a set of your 31x10.50/15 OTR's and love them .... I've got about 10,000 miles on them and they have only lost 2/32". I will probably be going with a set of 33x12.50's soon.(I know that Off Roading voids the warranty on the tires, but I'll have to tell you.... your tires hold up to some VERY hard punishment.) I am in a 4X4 truck club and have had a lot of people ask about my (your) tires. There are a bunch of guys looking for the larger size's ... so.... I'll pass on the info. If you have any decals or stickers, I'd love to put them on my truck. Thanks, Randy Miller

I bought a set of your 31x10.50R15 Mud tires. I was shipped OTR Mud, but I really didn't care after we talked on the phone and you said most of your customers had better luck with them. I don't know either way, but they've worked out very well for me off road. Great tires for the money. I've got 15,000 miles on them and expect them to go at least another 15,000 in a rig with a rear locker. That's great for a $200 set of tires. OUTSTANDING. Thanks, Tim
| October 23, 2003
I received the 4 OTR muds for my Dodge a couple weeks ago and just wanted to let you know that they are great. Took about a 200 mile highway trip with them and no problems. The ride was very good, not too much road noise for a mud tire. Thanks again.

Rick, This is my first set of retreads. They look and perform as good, if not better, than all other tires I have owned. I had a small problem with one of them. I called you and without hesitating, you corrected the problem fast and very professionally. Not only are the tires awesome, but you and your staff are flawless when it comes to customer satisfaction. I always recommend High-Tec Retreading to the people I talk to that are looking into buying new tires.
Thanks Again, Chad

Dear High-Tec Retreading
I purchased a set of 235-75-r15s muds from you guys approximately 2 months ago. We farm and do quite a bit of of road driving and pulling with my truck and the tires are AWESOME. I pull a lot of tongue heavy loads and my tires have approximately 7000 miles on them and don't look like they have warn at all. Thanks for the excellent job of making these tires and in the USA. I will run retreads forever. Thanks, Kyle Klees

hello I bought 4 tires last year 33x12x16.5. They have 60k on them still have 1/2 there rubber mounted on a 1979 chevy 3/4 ton step side with a 454 bb. I cruise at 85 mph on the Mass. Pike to VT every weekend from Rhode Island you guys are the best. Any way I have a trailer for paving equipment it has 12x16.5 tires{4}6ply also my other trailer has 750x16 {4}. Can you supply tires for them? How about 850x20 truck tires for a old chevy truck? Thanks, Gary Sanford

I need to ask about larger sizes 35's will do, but I'm looking for 38's. If you are unable to provide these can you recommend someone who can? additionally I currently have 31x10.50/ 15 mt's on my jacked up explorer. they are doing great. bought them two months ago they have about 1000 miles on them and I've already gone places I couldn't go before.

Rick enclosed is a pic from my weekend on Drummond Island, MI. Where your OTR's kicked butt on a whole lotta deep water/mud. Thanks. Ryan Love the tires.

got almost 10,000 miles on a set of 'muds' in three months driving in the black hills. appear to have worn very little. I cant believe how good they grip on my ranger pickup. too noisy, but just turn the radio up a little. I'm going to put a set on my girlfriends ranger in the next couple weeks. probably the ones you use on your trucks with 'green' of course. thanks jm martinson, custer sd

I purchased a set of 235/75R15 OTR muds for my straight-axle Toyota from the Ft. Collins warehouse. They balanced as well or better than new tires on my cheap, steel wheels. They are great on the road. They run true at all speeds and the noise isn't excessive. They sing but they don't roar like other mudders I've tried. The real fun starts on the trail though. The rubber compound holds onto rocks very well, even when dust-covered. They don't squirm much and are sure-footed. They dig like a true mudder, and lateral grip is not bad at all. Durability is excellent--even underwater, the sharp rocks haven't done any damage at all. I have managed to pack the tread with mud but it still delivered sufficient grip. In wetter mud they self-clean well. I look forward to many more exciting miles. I can't find any reason to buy brand new truck tires after using these. Eric P. Louisville, Colorado.
| May 19, 2003
I bought 31x10.50 OTR's from you guys a couple months ago and l would just like to say they are the best mud tire I've owned. My current list of mud tires goes, Wild Country RVT, BFGoodrich MT, Goodyear MT/R, Maxxis Buckshot Mudder(the new ones) and now your tire. I works great have had absolutely no tread separation and I beat my tires hard in my off road buggy truck. You guys have a life time customer now. This leads me to my next question is it possible to get 285/75/R16 for my Chevrolet pickup truck in the All-Terrain, just wanted something a little bigger than a 265 if possible. Thanks for your time.
| May 12, 2003
James Martinson here. I've put your tires to the test in the Black Hills. they stick like glue in all kinds of conditions; wet, frosty, loose gravel, wash boards, corners, bumps, high speed, and MUD. They will not hydro plane in three inches of rain on the road! I don't mind loosing a little gas mileage, but I cant stand the noise in my little ranger, might not be as noticeable on a full size truck. I wouldn't recommend the 'muds' to anyone that isn't going to have severe conditions every day like I do. I haven't put it in 4wd yet. where in the same conditions before it was 4-wheel and barley make it. if I cant get used to the noise, I may buy a set of less aggressive tires from you for the summer, and put these back on this fall. I guess the trade-off is 'do I wanna go, or do I wanna be quiet?' catch ya later j7

Just a note to let you folks know that the mudgrips I bought from you a couple of years ago for my jeep are still doing good. Not long after I bought them, the kids and I were driving through a creek covered with about 4" of ice, and had to break our way through, to finally climb up the far bank. I was greatly concerned how the retreads were going to handle this abuse. I'm still driving them and not afraid to jump in the jeep, hit the interstate, or any road for that matter, THANKS, Marvin Jones

Hey there. I saw your testimonials and thought I'd add my own. I have purchased 2 sets of 31X10.5 M/T tires from you guys for my 1997 Jeep Wrangler. On the first set I got OVER 50K miles. I am at about 31K on this set and they're still rollin'.
Thanks guys, jC

hello! I've purchased your 33x12.50 mudders for both my offroad vehicles and love them. I've been a long time customer, I believe I'm on my 2nd or 3rd full set. I am writing to inquire as to the possibility of larger sizes (especially 35") becoming available? If not for widespread sale, maybe just for me?! ha ha.
let me know of the possibilities!
thanks very much and keep up the good work. -clint

I received my tires last weekend (31/10.50 muds) and put them right on No weights needed to balance. Excellent Went straight to a local 4X4 trail and wow super great performance .. They dig like a groundhog. Unbelievable these tires have already taken me places my BF Goodrich MTs wouldn't.. I will buy from you forever.. Also have several friends interested.. Great product.. Thanks A million.. Carl Monceaux New Orleans, LA

I have got to say. The OTR 265/75R/16's were nice. Balanced easy with no hassle. I have had those tires on for two days and have had too many compliments. Great tires at a great price. You have a customer for life. Keep up the great work. Rick CA

I received my tires almost a month ago and I am writing to say thank you. When I went to get them mounted I heard several comments about how much I paid for the tires. They were very shocked when I told them the total (including shipping).
Also one of the tires required no wheel weights! I have never seen that even on a new tire. The All-Terrain’s I got are great offroad my friends are all jealous with their high dollar AT’s. You have a customer for life and I will soon be putting new tires on my wife’s truck and you can count on the fact that there will be retreads on her truck too. Arlen Lindsey

Hello! Just writing to tell you that I ordered a set of your 33x12.50x15s awhile back, and when I first saw them I thought you had sent me the wrong tires. I knew I had ordered a set of retreads but when I first saw them I thought you had sent me a new set off the rack.. (THEY ARE THE BEST LOOKING AND BEST WEARING RETREADS I HAVE EVER OWNED). I have had alot of comments about your tires, no one thinks they are retreads until they look 2 or 3 times to make sure. When I went to have them mounted the tire shop couldn't belive how great the quality was.. Believe me if they ever wear out you will sell another set you can count on it. Your friend Billy Y P.S. Keep up the great work.

I would like to say that these tires are GREAT!!! Thet look as if they were brand new but the price it’s much better!
I know where I’ll be getting my tires from now on!! I have refer people to you...so I’m sure you’ll get a lot of orders from Minnesota! Thank you so much!! Karla

Hello! I am a repeat customer because these tires kick butt over the other brands high priced and over-rated tires.I commute 120 miles a day,and go off-roading often and your tires have lasted over 7months! With NO problems! I want to order four 33x12.50x15 mud terrains. Thanx, Dale

Hello, and thank you very much for your fast reply. I ordered a set of tires from your company before, and I have been very impressed with them. They look good, they wear very well, and they perform great! They are as good or better than any new tire on the market, and the ecological benefits plus the price savings puts them number one in my book. I've said as much to anyone who would listen that needs replacement tires. But it's getting about time, and I'm needing to replace my own again. I think I'll try a set of the Green Diamonds next.
I do have one question. Didn't your company also carry tires for passenger cars? I seem to remember that you did, and I know someone that's needing a set to fit 14" wheels. Thanks again. Regards, Jeremy

To the folks at High Tech, I recieved the set of A\T tires that I ordered today and am VERY impressed with the looks of the tires!! I already have them mounted and installed. As far as the ride of the tires they are very smooth and not very noisy as far as road noise. The actual ride is what I consider excellent especially for a 6 ply tire. I already have some people I know that may be purchasing some of their own. Keep up the good work and the friendly over the phone service and I am sure that word of mouth will be the best advertising you can get. The small business attitude is definately something that is missing in todays hustle and bustle. One Satisfied Customer Brent

Just writing to tell you how satisfied I am with my tires. I ordered 4 mud 33x12.50x15’s for my F-150. Not only do they look good, but the ride is great. They are very quiet and seem to smooth out our bumpy roads here in Toledo. Also, one quick comment about your staff. I called three times for info and was treated very well over the phone. My order was delivered promptly just in time for Christmas. The 4-wheel shop that mounted them were impressed that they were retreads. they stated, not only did they look good but that they were well balanced. Again, thanks and I’ll spread the word here in Toledo. Firedog

I just thought I’d drop ya’ a line about your tires. I bought a set of your retreads from a friend of mine who moved up a tire size (from 3 is to 33s). I was a little apprehensive about buying retreads since what I know about them is what I’ve seen along the sides of the highways (otrn retreads form semi-trucks). Anyway, I am VERY impressed with your tires! I’ve taken them offroad on some tricky rock crawling and they handled BEAUTIFULLY! They’re quieter on road than I’d expect and they didn’t need an ounce of balancing weight. I’ll definately be ordering a new set from you when I go up to 33s. BTW, I have approx 10K on the ties and I can hardly see any wear! Keep up the good work! Pauly

Just got the 2nd set of tires from your Co. Super tires! Didn’t balance the first set (sold the Jeep) and haven’t balanced the new ones on the Bronco either! “Muds” are quieter than expected...keep it up! Thanks, Steve Abplanalp

I have already received the tires I was inquiring about!! This is the third set of tires I have ordered from Hi-Tec! I must say that I am extremely pleased with the performance of the tires. I installed a set of the 31 x 10.5 x 15’s on my GMC Sonoma Highrider and I actually like the ride of these better than that of the BFG’s that were on there! Thanks again? Dan Tully

I would just like to say that I just bought some tires off of you. After shopping around you had the best price I could find. I live in Attica approx. 2mi from the badlands an off road park a lot of my friends were asking me were to get good tires for there jeeps. I've told a few about you and your prices and they are very suprised. They are talking about ordering some also. I'm in the process of getting an offroad page going and when I do if I could I would like to put you on it. If that is ok with you please let me know about this by e- mail if you want. Thanks again for your product... Tony Garrett

Richard, I'm writing you to thank you for the awesome tires... they have had to bail me out several times in the past 6 weeks or so and tonight was no exception... also last Sunday I was heading to church and was out before the snowplow... fog was very heavy and so reflection was high but your tires helped me break through the snow and it was fun as well... probably got a few grey hairs in the process... people around here tell me they will order from you guys now I hope they do... this is one Happy Camper... greg
| I was very happy with the set of tires I purchased from you earlier this year. Please send me 4 more 235-85R-16 mud tires. Thank you, Earl Smith Weber Herford Ranch New Salem, ND
| Rick, thought I would drop you a line and let you know how pleased I am with the tires. I have put over a thousand miles on them already. My installer says they balanced like a new tire. Thanks for a great product. Thanks, Greg
| Mr. Hawkins, I ordered the tires mentioned in my first letter for my '74 Bronco. Since I had to repaint my rims, I put the tires on myself and took off all previously installed balancing weights. After installation I took it out on the road and at 70 mph it was smooth as silk, no balancing required. Great tires at a great price. Regards, J.R. Wallace
| Just got my tires. 2 working days WOW. The quality and workmanship is excellent look like brand new. I'm telling everyone I know about these and am also considering trying to get a dealership. p.s. your mud tread works great clean out very well once again excellent product
| High-Tec, Let me tell you something, A friend of mine from Beasley, TX has been ordering these tires for me, himself & other friends. I think he was dealing with High-Tec in Colorado. But I'm gonna try to order on my own from ya'll and see how things go. I've been running these tires for about 3 years and I've had very good luck with them and some friends that got tuhem said the same. So keep up the good work & I'll keep buying! Thanks, Allen Bienek
| Dear High-Tec Retreading, I first heard about High-Tec Retreading about a year and a half ago when a friend went to Denver and bought a set of tires from you. A few months later he wanted to go to a taller tire and I liked the way your tires looked so I bought the 31X10.50R-15 All-Terrians from him. They have performed very well for me in mud, snow, sandstone, and loose dirt. In the mud and snow, the self-cleaning tread design was very efficient. On the sandstone the tread compound seemed to stick very well and they didn't slide much helping in the overall performance on the rocks. On the whole, I think the highway manners of this particular tire were quite satisfactory. The lack of road noise in respect to tire width was a pleasant surprise, I expected there to be more road noise for as aggressive a tire as they are.
I am so pleased with the tires I bought from my friend I just ordered a set of P235-85R-16's to go with my new 16" rims. Sincerely, Tom Magalsky
| Just wanted to say the tires are great!!!! Great value, and great tires!!!! Jim Haffly
